ZAD on same box as Zimbra?

We set up ZAD on a virutal machine, while clearing a volume on our zimbra server for ZAD's permanent home. The volume is now cleared out--a 1.5 TB RAID 5 array. How do we proceed to configure ZAD on the zimbra box and move 600 archive accounts from the VM?

I was under the impression that v6.x brought the capability to create HSM policies based on criteria other than age. I thought that I could use such a policy to move archive.company.com accounts to a second mailstore on the one box. But I'm not finding this in the documentation.
