Confuse regarding selection of zcs 6.x version

Hi Guys,

From last one year, I am using zcs 5.0.13 and its working very well. Now I am planning to upgrade this version to Zcs 6.x due to below requirements :

1. To get reporting module which can generate quick report / graphs as per mangement requirement.
2. To implement domain / user base signature for customer
3. To enable return reciept for users
4. Enable sa-update
5. User base junk folder management ( user can prepared their own blacklist / whitelist )
6. HTML base signature on standard profile
7. Enable fowarding for multiple users
8. GAL search through standard profile.
8. To get latest antivirus version

I am reading release notes of all new Zcs 6.X version... but confuse which one i should choose ..zcs 6.0.2 , 6.0.4 or 6.0.6 ....again there r some known issues have been mentioned...

Can anyone please suggest which one is best ? i knw i must sound stupid as every version is having good features....but would like to take feedback regardng new version who already deployed it in production ....

And i hope i can directly can upgrade from zcs 5.0.13 to zcs 6.0.2 ONWARDS versions....

I would suggest using the latest 6.0.6, as it ironed out a lot of bugs that were in earlier 6.x releases.

The release notes will tell you what version of 5.x you need to be at to do an upgrade directly to 6.0.6.

Hi guys,


I am testing upgradation from zcs 5.0.13 to zcs 6.0.6 and all features of new version in lab...and planning to upgrade production coming weekend...

upgradation has been done without any issue only i need to generate new certificat and after that it worked without any issue.

I am testing new versions features now and have below concerns :

1. Read reciept is not working with zcs webmail...ihave enabled it in COS and both testing IDs checked " always send read reciept" but still no luck..

2. Under "Advanced Statistics" how to mentioned start and end date ? I have mentioned 3m and tried 90d also but still showing 1 month data...is there any setting need to do to get few months report ?

3. There is one very good feature in webmail that user can prepared their own black and white list....right now i could only test it for internal domain... But the question is, if user getting any geniune mail in Junk folder and if he mark that mail ID as an whitelist then will it get deliver in Inbox in future?? please confirm .


Please help me to understand this...

With new zcs 6.0.6 version...i m able to send mail from client IPs without adding tht network in postfix trusted network...have a look on below :

In production server with 5.0.13 it used to REJECT such mail communication as there is no any proper authentication....

Can anyone please tell me why this is happening ??

And i read about below mentioned bug of 6.0.6 ...

Can anyone please tell which version itsg oing to fix ??
