zmaccts don't work under root

zmaccts don't work under root, it says:

ldap_start_tls: Connect error (-11)
additional info: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed (unable to get local issuer certificate)
ldap_result: Can't contact LDAP server (-1)

What can I do? zmaccts hasn't any arguments.

Have you tried running this tool as the zimbra user? Most commands staring with "zm" are designed to run as zimbra, not root.

Hi Dirk,

Even i want to run zmaccts from root user and giving same error message. Yes from zimbra user, its working fine. But we need to provide one read only dashboard to users to show mailbox status. and for that we need to run zmaccts command from root....
is there any way ??

What about using su?

As root:

su - zimbra -c "zmaccts"

I was going to suggest

sudo -u zimbra /opt/zimbra/bin/zmaccts

but that does not work. I tried Klug's suggestion though and that does work, so go with that one
