You can use the RSS feed.

http://YOU-SERVER/service/user/~/inbox.rss

Can you give me a "for example" ?

I tried this:

http://smtp.2022708968.com/service/s...om/~/inbox.rss

Does that look right? Or am I doing something stupid? ;-)

( Running 3.1.4 )

Scott,

Try this:

http://<your zimbra server>/service/user/<your username>/inbox.rss

replace "<your zimbra server>" with your domain name
replace "<your username>" with your email account user@domain.com or user should be fine depending on how your machine is setup.

Good to see another Virginia area user

But i am not able to open the link which u gave me.

Anyways,I will tell in detail what i am trying to do..

My mail server is configured to outlook express.now i need to read the details from the outlook express and not from the mail server.

What could be the problem?.

Yeah, I don't know how you would pull info from Outlook Express.

If you pull from the Zimbra server directly you won't have to deal with Outlook Express running, so I might try to do the RSS feed as described above.

You could always use this OE plug-in then get the RSS feed from your Zimbra server. You haven't mentioned it but I assume you are using Zimbra?

Probably a silly question but are you actually using an RSS reader? If so which one? This technique does work using this url:
Code:
http://<servername>/zimbra/home/<yourname>bpye/inbox.rss
When you enter <yourname> I just use the part without the FQDN and don't forget this is an authenticated feed - you will need the FQDN login name and password to get the feed.
