I think that sending by email the announcement ClamAV 0.94 EOL on ZCS 5.0.16 prior would have been a good thing. Of course I'm aware that it's my fault (and only mine) if I run old versions of zimbra.

Anyway I updated successfully a 5.0.8 and a 5.0.2 as described in the wiki page. Regarding the 5.0.2, which include clamav 0.92, I had to do 2 more things:
a) I modified the clamav.conf.in to substitue the outdated parameter "ArchiveMaxFileSize" with "MaxFileSize"
b) I copied the clamav-0.92/db directory to /clamav-0.95.1/db to be consistent with the value of the DatabaseDirectory parameter.

For those who don't want to read another thread - disable Anti Virus in the GUI and then reboot the system.

Restarting Zimbra wasn't enough in my experience, you need to restart the entire server.

and it's important to run this command

ls -l /opt/zimbra/clamav

it must be linked to

lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 16 Apr 9 12:39 clamav -> /opt/zimbra/clamav-0.95.1
