zimbra 5.0.8 OS ClamAV wigged out

Clamav bugged out after running well for over a year now.

the last few lines of /opt/zimbra/log/clamd.log

following the instructions on ClamAV - Reset Defs DB - Zimbra :: Wiki

i tried to reset the databases, and after redownloading the dbs same error occurs.

Any ideas?
