change hostname

Hi All,

Will be migrating a server to a new IP soon. Here's what I will do:

1) change the IP specific hostname to a generic one (leaving the IP the same)
2) move the server to a new IP
3) change the IP and the DNS entries
4) pray it works.

My question is:

if I do step 1 as per the wiki: ZmSetServerName - Zimbra :: Wiki Then will the settings and accounts migrate as well or will I get a blank new server?

I am running Zimbra Open Source 5.0.9_GA_2533.

Anything else I should be aware of?
