[SOLVED] STATS PROBLEM zcs-6.0.5_ ON UBUNTU 8.2

OS Ubuntu 8 ZIMBRA VER 6.0.5

Some days ago I found that "stats" stopped . What meas stats ???
The mailserver continue to recieve mails and archive them

I'm searching the cause of problem....
but I don't know the right way to find a solution

Pleasw help me...

I'ver rebooted also the server but the problem remains

I stopped the server with command

zimbra@zimbra:~$ zmcontrol stop

Stopping antispam...Done.

then I've restarted the server

zimbra@zimbra:~$ zmcontrol start

Starting snmp...Done.
Starting spell...Done.

Starting stats...Done.

But after status ....I get that stats is stopped

In admin mail box I recieve this messages

I also had this issue. When I looked at the zmstat directory, it showed ownership of root:root. When I changed ownership to zimbra:zimbra I was able to start stats successfully.

My question is how would the directory ownership change? Is there a script we need to adjust?

There's a bug report for this (don't have the number handy but there is an almost identical stats thread where I posted it).

Its reported as fixed but I don't recall if it was for 6.0.6 or 6.0.7
