    Default Using ZCS LDAP Schema

    Hi,

We run ZCS ver 3.1. We are "adding" other software on the server which requires our users to log in.

Since ZCS uses Salted SHA1, there would be no way of just replicating the passwords in a new common database (Either MySQL or LDAP). We would like to use ZCS LDAP for authentication of our users.

Is there any way I can access this LDAP?

    Thanks,
    Vivek

Have you tried the example given at http://wiki.zimbra.com/index.php?title=LDAP_Apache ?

BTW, I faced a similar situation -> Stuck while trying to use ZCS LDAP for external authentication but I did manage to get it figured out pretty easily.
