Neither POP3 nor IMAP via Outlook need the Zimbra Outlook Connector.

Thanks Bill. Here's the configuration settings I used in Outlook

Incoming server (POP3) portnumber - 995 ( SSL checked)
SMTP portnumber - 25 ( Encryption - Auto)

Zimbra administration side

SSL enabled for IMAP and POP, Cleartext login disabled
TLS Authentication unchecked in MTA.

Am i missing any options here? I am able to send msgs from outlook to the zimbra mailbox, however the mails goes to the junk folder instead of the inbox. Do i need to change any spam settings within the mailserver?

Thanks!!

You should enable TLS on the server and ensure that your users are authenticating when the send mail. You should also change the submission port to 587 (instead of port 25), that will reauire you to Authenticate with your username/password.

Please update your forum profile with the output of the following command (do not post it in this thread):

Code:
zmcontrol -v
