stats remains stopped

Hi, the stats service won't start and remains stopped, even after a reboot. Any suggestions? Thanks.

zmstatctl restart and tell what u see in logs ?

Also check if you have

%zimbra ALL=NOPASSWD:/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmstat-fd *

in your /etc/sudoers. If not add it and restart service.

The etc/sudoers file is correct.

We've had issues since 6.0.5 with permissions in the /opt/zimbra/zmstat directory. Make sure everything in that directory is owned by zimbra:zimbra and start stats again.

That did the trick. There were some things in there that were root:root.
