max size of user name

Hi guys i got a zimbra nw 5.0.18 and i have to create new users, this uses have a very long username it's more than 30 characters, it seems that i have trouble when this users log on because sometimes they can log in and sometimes they got errors, is there any limit for a user name on zimbra, if it's so is there a way to change it? thanks any help

Do you mean the username including the domain element ?
