Default Mail Search Does Not Display Folders

We are having an issue where the user searches in e-mail for "foobird".

Search displays all messages and threads with hits however, only messages in conversations display the Folder Name under Folders (using AJAX WebUI). Any single message filed in a folder does NOT display the folder name where it was filed.

As one can see, this is a serious problem for people who have filed messages and need to know where they reside.

We have reindexed the users mailbox and restarted zimbra both to no avail.

Anyone have suggestions and hopefully a solution? Users are getting cranky.

Running 6.04 on RHEL5.

You'll probably find the single message is in your Sent folder, you can check that by opening the message and you should see the folder name. If you want that behaviour changed then I guess it's an RFE (or bug depending on your point of view) that needs filing.

Actually this can be replicated. It happens all the time.

The single message is actually in a folder (not sent) it was a message that was received and then filed.

It appears the only time a folder name appears in search is when a message is part of a thread (conversation) and the conversation view is opened - then the folder names appear.

This makes searching useless when trying to locate where a message is filed. The user has 6+GB of mail in hundreds of folders.

I guess I will have to file as a bug if there is no other choice.
