Default Can't Change a User's Password.

When I attempt to change a user's password I'm getting this message:

Code:
invalid request: LDAP schema violation: [LDAP: error code 65 - attribute 'sambaNTPassword' not allowed] Error code: service.INVALID_REQUEST Method: SetPasswordRequest Details:soap:Sender
This server had the samba integration zimlet installed at one point but I tried to uninstall it via uninstall instructions on the wiki. Obviously I still have some of the Samba cruft in the system and I'm not sure how to clear it out.

The uninstall instructions ask that you clear out the extra objectClass entries for the Posix/Samba stuff which I've done. Here's an example for a specific user:

Code:
$ zmprov ga user@domain | grep objectClass
objectClass: organizationalPerson
objectClass: zimbraAccount
objectClass: amavisAccount
And I've updated the slapd.in file as well. I'd appreciate any help in this as it's a weird feeling being locked out of your own server.

Did you get to the bottom of this? Ive just experienced it on a fresh 6.0.6 install on kiddieos 8.04.

Not done much digging myself yet, just a few google searches - will post back when i find what it is...

You need to disable the ldap schema also. Which version of ZCS is this?

For me it was quite simple, under the default CoS -> Advanced, i had 'Password Locked' ticked...untick this.

I assumed this set the below options, ie minimum password length etc - can someone clarify? Or are they set anyway without the above tick box?

Its not arranged as well as it could be in the admin gui....
