MailSignature is longer than the limited

I had set the COS's preference mailsignature value to 20480, And the Web-base zimbra is OK. But when I set the Desktop. It still tell me : Invalid request: zimbraPrefmailsignature is longer than the limited value.

Why the Desktop can't be actived by the change on COS?

That's because the COS applies to the Zimbra server not ZD, depend on whether your using ZD 1.x it's also based on the previous ZCS 5.x code and will be using ZCS 6.x in ZD 2.x.
