zimbra anti-spam

How are you guys handling spam on zimbra?

here the antispam coming with zimbra is actually useless. It detects almost nothing. Is it worth trying to tune zimbras spamassassin or is it wise anyway to use an external dedicated anti-spam-MX? (Thats how we do it by now, but consolidation is always an option)

Why do you perceive the default ZCS AV/AS to be useless ? What type of SPAM are you getting ?
