    Default Zimbra as client only...

I've been reading around on the documentation but it seems like I can't find a clear answer. Can Zimbra be installed as a client only? Meaning that I do not want ot working with, installed with, or connecting to a Zimbra based server? I just want it to work with pre-established/installed programs like Exim/vm-pop3d that are already functioning and sending mail.

    Is this possible??

    Thanks for that info.

Is it possible to instead install Zimbra on the same server that Exim/vmpop3d is running and have the zimbra server software installed along with it but not have it interfere with the Exim MTA? I'm just curious about a few things.

you could run the zimbra postfix on a different port but it really depends on what your objective is
