Default 5.0.18>5.0.22>6.0.5 or 5.0.18>6.0.5

I want to upgrade from 5.0.18 to 6.0.5.

Would the upgrade go more smoothly if I first upgrade to 5.0.22?

Thanks, Eric

I am in the same boat, planning to go to 5.0.22 just for giggles and to get my users in the habit of upgrading their Outlook Connector. Looks like that upgrade is supported, here's one where folks had certificate issues:

I would go straight from 5.0.18 to 6.0.x. The upgrade scripts do step-upgrades in the database schema, so everything should be fine and smooth - and it will save you a step and time.

As always, do a backup before you upgrade.

Thanks for the responses. Upgrade straight to 6.0.5 went just fine.

Not that you want to hear this now that you have already done the upgrade, but the product Portal (Zimbra Product Portal) shows 6.0.6 is dues out on 29 March.

Since we tend to skip upgrades to minimize downtime and apply only those upgrades that address issues encountered by our users (or which add new features the users want), we watch the planned product release dates pretty closely.

6.0.6 is due to have a number of good bug fixes in it that you may or may not encounter in 6.0.5.

Hope that helps,
Mark
