Default Adding external account problem

Hi,

I (and my users) seem to have a problem with adding external accounts in ZCS 6.0.3. Ubuntu8.04. When I try to add a new account (zimbra account located on the same server) the [Test settings] button just hangs indefinitely. I tried to find any mention of that account trying to authenticate in mailbox.log, but there was no mention of that account at all (the target mailbox acct). But it seems that every time I do a [Test settings], I get these lines in the log:

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on or how to troubleshoot it?

Tnx
Jure

It works OK for me on 6.0.5. Is this a single server? Are you using the external account as an IMAP account? If you are it's strange that the connection is going via port 443 when it should be 993, I'm also surprised to see the IP address in there rather than the FQDN of the server - are your DNS records & hosts file OK?

It's a single server and I'm adding it as an IMAP account. I'll check the hosts file, but as I can see in the log, all request for secureRequest.jsp go via 443..

DNS seems ok (can resolve both ways). I'll upgrade ZCS and see if that helps..

For what it's worth, we are finding the same problem.

Did the upgrade of ZCS fix the problem?

Actually, if I remember correct, it was a server reboot that did it. We upgraded as well and we have no such problems now..
