Default zmlogger and slapd consuming too much cpu

zmlogger and slapd processes are consuming too much CPU. I can't even edit my server settings to disable logger service. How to disable logger service from command line? Will it adversely affect other services? Also, how to reduce cpu consumption by slapd. Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the reply ! I did the following:
su - zimbra
zmprov ms `hostname` -zimbraServiceEnabled logger
zmcontrol stop
zmcontrol start

Logger got stopped, now I observe the following: My CPU usage varies from 20pc to 90pc periodically like one min at around 20pc another min around 80-90pc. RAM utilization is pretty high as well like 90%. I have a dual core machine with 4GB RAM. Any suggestion on what other fine tuning I can do?

use crontab to auto stop zmlogger.
In 6.0 version, I see that each new day, zmlogger auto start (so bad)
