stats stopped after v6 upgrade

I upgraded to v6 a month ago and the stats have been stopped since that time. I haven't had a chance to troubleshoot until today.

As per Logger (ZCS 6.0.x and later) - Zimbra :: Wiki I've posted the files.

Any ideas?

I had that happen as well. Turns out the permissions on the /opt/zimbra/zmstat directory had some subfolders owned by root instead of zimbra. Do a chown zimbra:zimbra /opt/zimbra/zmstat -R and restart the service.

I've stopped zimbra, chowned /opt/zimbra/zmstat, started zimbra 3-4 times now.

It will run for a day or two and then a new folder with current date will appear in /opt/zimbra/zimbra/<todays date> owned by root:root - causing stats to stop.

anyone have a permanent fix for this?

I belive it's supposed to be fixed in today 6.0.6 release.

i upgraded to 6.0.6. now the perms look correct in the folder but stats is still not running.

any ideas?

How about the perms on the folder itself?
