Does manual quota expansion overrides the CoS ?

I tried to extend the quota for one user and the quota is pretty much the same.

Yes, manual extension of a mailbox quota should override CoS settings. You'll need to log out of the admin UI, and log back in to see the changes though.

Ideally, after changing quota, also:

su - zimbra
zmcontrol stop
zmcontrol start
exit
exit
