Search Multiple Accounts?

Hey Everyone,

We've received a "request for public record" or something to that extent (I'm not entirely sure of the details) and I've been asked if it's possible for me to search multiple e-mail accounts for e-mails containing certain words and/or phrases.

Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing it? We're running 6.0.5_GA_2213.DEBIAN4.0.FOSS

Any help is much appreciated.

I guess I should mention that we're running the open source version...so zmmboxsearch is unavailable.

I'm guessing I could grep the Zimbra mailstore and have grep return the paths of the files that contain a match (then I can grab the contents of the files)...but how to do that exactly I'm not sure. I only know the basics of grep.

Any ideas?
