Default Rsyncing an HSM Volume

We're planning to expand our HSM capacity by creating a new volume, using rsync to copy all data from /opt/zimbra/hsm to the new volume, and then mounting that new volume in place of /opt/zimbra/hsm.

Is there any reason that the rsync may cause issues with the HSM data? It seems trivial, but i wanted to verify this before making the move.

Thanks!

That should work good.
If you have a cron to run HSM disable that before doing.

That's the plan. HSM's cron is currently disabled because of the space issues. We plan to get the new storage in place before we turn hsm back on.

Thanks!
