Any advice before upgrade from 5.0.16 to 6.0.5?

Hi,

It´s time to take the leap. Everything have worked just fine but we need some of the functions in the latest release.

My enviroment is Ubuntu server 8.04 LTS.

Do you have any do or dont´s so I can awoid any pitholes?
All advice is more than welcome!

i'd say TEST IT EXTENSIVELY!

IMHO 605 is not yet production ready! has some minor and major bugs which makes it unfit in some situations.
i.e., if you use child accounts you will experience troubles!
