Default Send local domain adddress to non local domain SMTP

I am trialing Zimbra on our LAN with one email account for myself. I don't want to change over the rest of our users from the mail email server until I am happy with using and my knowledge of Zimbra.

Is there a way of sending mail from Zimbra to a local address but have it sent to the other local SMTP mail server. For example sending an email to anyoneelse@localdomain.com is delivered to another SMTP not handled internally by Zimbra.

Hope this is clear.

Only solution I can find so far is to set up a Gmail account to bounce the local address through back to the main mail server.

Cheers
Andy

If the accounts are on another server the you probably need a Split Domain set-up.
