Hennie,
You have at least one compromised PC that has access to your network.
you may also have a compromised user/password account on the server it self.

steps
#1 change the password.
# 2 Find the compromised PC(s) and clean them or remove them from the network. see the suggestions from MxToolBox on cleaning.
if you don't have access to your networks DHCP server get the Admin that is to work with you on this. Its not just an e-mail issue.

Hi All,

I have disabled the spam account and immediately all spam activity stopped. I underestimated the power of spamming techniques, especially the issue of weak passwords.

I have now embarked on a minimum of 8 charachter alfa numeric password for all my email users.

Thank you again for your help.

Regards,
Hennie
