    Default trash purge

    Hi,

after reading many threads, I could not find the right setting to purge automatically the trash.
Spam folders are automatically purged accordingly general settings / COS settings, but they have no effects on Trash folder!

    Code:
    zmprov gs serveur.com | grep -i zimbraMailPurgeSleepInterval
    zimbraMailPurgeSleepInterval: 1m

zmprov gacf | grep -i zimbraMailPurgeSleepInterval
    zimbraMailPurgeSleepInterval: 1m

    zmprov ga user@doamin.com |grep -i Lifetime
    zimbraAdminAuthTokenLifetime: 12h
    zimbraAuthTokenLifetime: 2d
    zimbraMailMessageLifetime: 0
    zimbraMailSpamLifetime: 10d
    zimbraMailTrashLifetime: 30d
    zimbraPasswordLockoutFailureLifetime: 1h
    zimbraPrefInboxReadLifetime: 0
    zimbraPrefInboxUnreadLifetime: 0
    zimbraPrefJunkLifetime: 0
    zimbraPrefSentLifetime: 0
    zimbraPrefTrashLifetime: 0

zmprov gc cosname |grep -i Lifetime
    zimbraAdminAuthTokenLifetime: 12h
    zimbraAuthTokenLifetime: 2d
    zimbraMailMessageLifetime: 0
    zimbraMailSpamLifetime: 10d
    zimbraMailTrashLifetime: 30d
    zimbraPasswordLockoutFailureLifetime: 1h
    zimbraPrefInboxReadLifetime: 0
    zimbraPrefInboxUnreadLifetime: 0
    zimbraPrefJunkLifetime: 0
    zimbraPrefSentLifetime: 0
    zimbraPrefTrashLifetime: 0
    What's the problem?

And what is the difference between zimbraPrefJunkLifetime and zimbraMailTrashLifetime ?

I know, but since zimbraMailTrashLifetime is 30d, what's the purpose of ZimbraMailTrashLifetime ?
And zimbraPrefJunkLifetime = 0 is purging effectively spam folder ...

It wont as 0 is to disable purging. In your case it is purging because you override it on user settings :-

    zmprov ga user@doamin.com |grep -i Lifetime
    zimbraAdminAuthTokenLifetime: 12h
    zimbraAuthTokenLifetime: 2d
    zimbraMailMessageLifetime: 0
    zimbraMailSpamLifetime: 10d
    zimbraMailTrashLifetime: 30d

    thank you veronica
    But:
if account setting "zimbraMailSpamLifetime 10d" is overriding "zimbraPrefJunkLifetime = 0"
why "zimbraMailTrashLifetime: 30d" is not overriding "zimbraPrefTrashLifetime 0" ????

    I've tried to set zimbraPrefTrashLifetime = 2d
Now zimbraPrefTrashLifetime 2d overrides zimbraMailTrashLifetime 30d
This setting cannot be modified in UI, in my case I have to delegate administration to users via UI where zimbraMailTrashLifetime is settable but whithout effect.

It's a bug since settings for Spam are working?
