Default strange searching behavior

OK I have found some searching problem and looking for some help here:

I have a email subject is
"ASIA-4213/2010RES: RES: BORGES SHAFE09110529 CHANGE TO 09120042 R/O ref.71057/102406"

When I am trying to search the email subject by the following string,
I am able to seach the email:
------------------------------------------
ASIA-4213*
SHAFE09110529
09120042
0912004*
CHANG*

but it's not able to return result by following string:
------------------------------------------
*4213*
ASIA*
*2010*
*102406
*09110529
*HANG*

I had hardly read Zimbra Web Client Search Tips - Zimbra :: Wiki
, but I assume that "*09110529" or "*102406" should be able to search the message but it didn't.

Anyone know how's the searching function is working ?
I am so confusing on it...

I would image it is parsing the search string from left to right; which is why the first one would match and not the second.
