Default Adding a new MTA to multiserver install?

What would be the steps and considerations to adding a new MTA to a multiserver install? (MTA, LDAP, zimbra store)?

how about the backups ? what should I consider when backing up the MTA in a multiserver instance ? is it even worth it if I can add one easily ?

Thanks

Adding an MTA to a multi-server isntall is very easy just run the install program with only MTA selected. I believe the only thing really worth backing up on an MTA would be the spam database. Or possibly any configurations files if you have made modifications that are not kept when things like upgrades or possibly restarts of the service are done.
