Default [SOLVED] User cannot read some emails in Webmail client

Hello to all,

my client uses this Zimbra release:
Release 6.0.2_GA_1912.DEBIAN5_64 DEBIAN5_64 FOSS edition.

The problem is one of his users is not able to open some emails in the web interface.

He can open it through other means thought (blackberry, which is handled somehow over imap).

So i verified this myself, i logged in as administrator and switched to the user's inbox, searched for the message in question and I could not open it. Not with double clicking nor with "open in new window button". On other messages it works just fine.

The user has about 8 messages which have this behavior.

Edit as new message does not work as well. What i CAN do is view the source of the message, but on a glance there was nothing special.

JavaScript console is inconclusive, there seem to be java script errors, but they seem to be triggered on other messages as well which you can open.

I am at a loss here, is there eventually a SOAP log in /opt? I did not find one.

It does sound like the emails are mangled; and unless we are able to see a copy it is very hard to tell.

Default Mail in question

Hello,

I had first to wait for permission from my client, but find here attached the mail. I can not find any real problem on a quick-glance, but I am not a mail-composition-guru at all ...

Hope this helps to investigate the problem.

One thing you should fix is a SA rule .. Have a read through [SOLVED] FH_DATE_PAST_20XX - Spamassassin bug - incorrect tagging from Jan 1, 2010 on.

... regarding this problem?

are there more things I can provide? Is there a SOAP log? (I think the messages get read from the browser with a SOAP request?

If so, maybe this will give me a hint. I did not see anything in the standard logs (mailboxd.log, ...)

Any feedback is highly appreciated ...

I am pretty sure it is this bug:
Bug 42127 – Message showed a blank page when opened

which should be solved in 6.0.3.

So we will advice our client to upgrade and it should solve the matter for the better.
