Default Support for Cached Mode?

Hello All,

Were currently running an eval and UAT for Zimbra pro... Is there support for "exchange cache mode" I'm noticing the with newly migrate users, the Outlook client (2003) is downloading all the mail to a local .zdb file.

I think you might be interested in Bug 11962 – Sync Mode: Headers Only, Rest On Demand

and

Bug 38520 – headers only mode: download message when read

Both are in the latest releases.

However, Bug 45672 – checkbox for setting/unsetting header-only mode doesn't work won't be fixed for a few days.

That's just for email, right? Regardless, calendars/tasks/contacts always get full sync?

I haven't tested, but I would imagine so. This also seems to be the pretty much the same as when Outlook is used with Exchange, see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...000671033.aspx and http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...CH010045991033.
