Default Instant Messaging

When will MSN et al be re-introduced into Zimbra. Prior to the Y! acquisition IIRC we were able to connect to MSN. I appreciate with have the Meebo zimlet but not users have to check both that and the XMPP (inbuilt) for local Zimbra users. Would be really nice to know when it will all be pulled back to one source

one fo the roadmap presentations i saw recently had a feature for 7.0 listed

Instant Messaging - XMPP support for external servers

not sure if this is what you're hoping for

Oh even more info on other slide

* Integrate a current version of Openfire or Jabber
* Provide admin tools in the Zimbra interface
* Interoperate with existing XMPP servers via the server or client
* External IM networks via publicly available plug-ins
* XMPP Proxy (NGINX)
