Default [SOLVED] Disable outbound spam scanning

Hello,

Kindly help me in disabling antispam scanning for outgoing mails.

Reasons:
My users are doubting the ability of Zimbra, because it blocks typical test messages sent by them.
Being a media company, lots of genuine mails get trapped as spam, but they are our genuine mails.

I tried the following with no luck.
Interted in /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/local.cf

def_whitelist_from_rcvd *@myaliasdomain.com
def_whitelist_from_rcvd *@mydomain.com

Kindly guide me to disable outbound spam scanning.

Thanks

Search the Main Page - Zimbra :: Wiki for the word 'whitelist', you'll find all you need to know in the articles.

Default Sample log of a test message

Feb 18 16:38:57 nirvana postfix/qmgr[7697]: AC85AE6B0017: from=<user@myaliasdomain.com>, size=1527, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Feb 18 16:38:57 nirvana postfix/smtpd[24081]: disconnect from zimbra.mailserver.com[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
Feb 18 16:39:02 nirvana postfix/smtp[5820]: AC85AE6B0017: to=<self_id@gmail.com>, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024, delay=5.1, delays=0.22/0/0/4.9, dsn=2.7.0, status=sent (250 2.7.0 Ok, discarded, id=03172-13 - SPAM)
Feb 18 16:39:02 nirvana postfix/qmgr[7697]: AC85AE6B0017: removed

As the mail gets blocked with no information to user, they are losing confidence.

Thanks

Would you post the headers from one of the emails so we can see what rules are being hit. By default Zimbra is very light on assigning high scores to messages. You could also increase the log level = 2 in /opt/zimbra/conf/amavisd.conf.in and then restart the service. This will provide greater logging of what amavisd is doing.

Did you actually restart Amavis as stated in the wiki articles?

Wow!

Thank you so much. It worked. Really appreciate

For future reference of anyone else:
Rules/FH_DATE_PAST_20XX - Spamassassin Wiki

If you need to disable this test manually, place the following in your local.cf file:
score FH_DATE_PAST_20XX 0.0

Restart Spamassassin as Zimbra user by zmamavisdctl restart
