Default Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.

Tried to re-issue certificates when zimbra started to give certificate revoked error following the instructions on this page:

Recreating a Self-Signed SSL Certificate - Zimbra :: Wiki

when I ran after stopping zimbra and running zmcontrol start I got an error about ldap not being able to start (error was similar to the following post). I followed these instructions to restore ldap:

Welcome to the forums

How do you know that LDAP was corrupt ? Do you have a good backup that you can role back too ? It would also help if you updated your profile with
Code:
su - zimbra
zmcontrol -v
