Default Anyone successfully moved Zimbra to a new server?

I wanting to move to a newer server with more drive space. I read three different pages dealing with this:

Moving ZCS to Another Server » Zimbra :: Blog

Moving ZCS to New Server - Zimbra :: Wiki

Ajcody-Notes-Server-Move - Zimbra :: Wiki

I've seemed to confused myself. Has anyone completed this before?

My guess would be to mimic the new server, with the standard restore procedure. My personal favourite is the script below, ive used this many times to move my server (however always to the same os version)

[SOLVED] Yet Another Backup Script for Community Version

Then use the KiddieOS (Ubuntu) dist-upgrade procedure....then run the zimbra install, for the same version, again.... hopefully ending up with a working version.

Be fairly easy to test this in VMware first...

follow the process in
Moving ZCS to Another Server » Zimbra :: Blog
this one works for both NE and OSS version.
* main catch is 32 bit to 64 bit which you are not doing so if you follow the link line by line you should be fine.
* you may have to upgrade from 5.0.19 --> latest 5.0.xx as last step

That was the process that I was testing with. The last instruction is to answer yes to upgrade. It gives me a warning that I am about to downgrade from Network to Open. I'm assuming that after the install I can upgrade back to Network.?.?
