Default [SOLVED] Mailbox retention question

I hope this is the appropriate place for this question..

We are just about to start a UAT for Zimbra (network edition) and we're trying to come up with a solution for public folders. My question is:

We've setup a single mailbox with multiple nested folders. If I set a 90day E-mail message lifetime (Under the advanced tab, Email Retention) will that setting work on all sub-folders as well?

Unless I missed something, that option is only available at the mailbox level, so all folders would be affected. There's an RFE filed that's not finished for allowing retention on individual folders, so I would say that it's safe to assume that it's not even possible to set retention on individual folders.

hey thanks... we're hoping to replace 2 Exchange 2003 servers with the product... love it so far. Thanks for the reply and i'm glad to hear that all folders under the mailbox will take the retention set... that was what we needed.

onto UAT!
