Is it possible to move a existing zimbra domain between two zimbra servers. Basically we have a live 3.1.4 server and we want to build a testing/internal use
3.2 server for testing. Is there a way to move all mail/contacts/calanders/zimbra settings to the new server for a entire domain? I know you can back up individual mailboxes but I wasnt sure about moving or backup/restore of a entire domain. Any suggestions would be helpfull.
On the network edition backup/restore will let you create a new server but this assumes you use the same domain/server names. So if that's not the case you might need to tweak things. You should do the back/restore on 3.1.4 for both machines. Then upgrade the test machine to 3.2
As a followup question, unrelated to 3.2, is it possible to use the backup/restore functionality to move a single domain and all it's config/data to another server? Specifically say we had a client in a shared hosting environment that opted to move to their own server. The server would likely have a different name.
