Default Logger problem

Dear All,

We are having a problem with our logger, we get no stats (all zeros).

I think that the problem might be related to a change we did recently.

We have 3 zimbra services, called zimbra1, zimbra2, zimbra3
The machines names are: z1, z2, z3

Our logger host is z1.

Our IPs are as follows:

zimbra1 10.10.10.11
zimbra2 10.10.10.12
zimbra3 10.10.10.13

z1 10.10.10.1
z2 10.10.10.2
z3 10.10.10.3

We use the proxy service to connect users to our zimbra servers, our proxy server is called: zimbra

zimbra 10.10.10.10

However, the IPs for zimbra1, zimbra2, zimbra3 are now a redirect IPs to zimbra so to overcome this problem we changed the hosts file on all 3 severs to point zimbra1, zimbra2, zimbra3 to z1, z2, z3, so we added:

10.10.10.1 zimbra1.xxx.xxx zimbra1
10.10.10.2 zimbra2.xxx.xxx zimbra2
10.10.10.3 zimbra3.xxx.xxx zimbra3

Would that cause a problem with the logger?

To overcome potentional problems I used: zmloggerhostmap and added the following entries:

Zimbra Logger Service Hostname Map

--------------------- ---------------------
DNS Hostname Zimbra Hostname
--------------------- ---------------------
zimbra1.xxx.xxx 10.10.10.1
zimbra2.xxx.xxx 10.10.10.2
zimbra3.xxx.xxx 10.10.10.3

The strange thing is that the following entry is there:
z1 zimbra1.xxx.xxx

When I deleted it, I found it back next day!!!

Thanks,
