Server stats not showing and Status data is stale

Since upgrading to 6.0.4 I have not been able to get server stats to work in the admin console and the server status shows nothing running and "data is stale". I read the document on Logger for version 6+ and per its troubleshooting section am posting the following data.

In-fact I had this problem on a vanilla 6.0.4 install; I did compound things though as I had moved SSH onto a non-standard port due to internal security policies. The resolution was re-creating the SSH key and updating; restarting ZCS and then as root running

/opt/zimbra/bin/zmsyslogsetup

Once that was done switch to the zimbra user and execute

/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmstatuslog

and check that /var/log/zimbra.log was being updated

As root restart rsyslog and then

su - zimbra
zmcontrol stop ; zmcontrol start

Thanks again.

I cannot restart Zimbra Server at this time, but restarting rsyslog and doing zmloggerctl restart now allows me to see stats and interestingly the Server Status page is no longer "stale" but it shows everything but stats running.

I did a complete reboot last night but saw no change.

Something I did not realize is that if I click on the "Server Statistics" item under Monitoring in Zimbra Admin console, I get the error:
Message: system failure: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 4 Error code: service.FAILURE Method: GetLoggerStatsRequest Details:soap:Receiver

However, if I expand the server list in that menu and click on my server - "zimbra.maryofnazareth.org" in that list, I am able to see statistics. I don't recall having to do that in the past.

Any rate, I will completely restart zimbra server later and report back.

but qhen i try to go on graph screen i get this error:

but if i go on custom graph and try to draw graph of cpu idle and cpu utilization i see the graph... i really don't understant this fact

my version of Zimbra is the last released 6.04:
Release 6.0.4_GA_2038.RHEL5_64_20091214174341 CentOS5_64 NETWORK edition.
and it's running on a Centos5 machine with Linux mail.birdys.eu 2.6.18-164.el5 #1 SMP Thu Sep 3 03:28:30 EDT 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Not sure if it's a red herring, but the thing that seemed to resolve my errors, which were similar, was adding memory to teh Zimbra server.

I am running Zimbra on FC11 in a vmware virtual machine and did not realize that I had only allowed the virtual machine to have 1GB orf RAM. I bumped the amount of RAM to 3GB and my stats problem went away and the server status is all working correctly in the admin tool.

The release notes for 6.0.4 say 2GB of RAM is required and 4GB is recommended.

but even if i cannot see the message count graph i receive without any problem the nightly report of message count.
