I also interested in that question, as I heard, it is possible!Originally Posted by joerg.battermann
Hello.
What do you exactly mean by "migration" ?
The whole GAL, users, data and co ?
Only some users ?
Yes I mean all data, users and GAL!
Do you have only one Zimbra server, and you wish to move your data to another server? A server upgrade?
If so, just do a backup and restore using the info from the wiki.

If you are doing a server upgrade this may not work as there could well be an architecture change. ie. mac OSX -> linux, or i386 -> x86_64. Is there a way to do it in this instance?Originally Posted by wannabetenor

Thank you for your replay! I make fresh installation of Zimbra server on new hardware and I install new zimbra software on Suse Linux 10 and now I need to transfer all accounts from old server which runs on Fedore Core 4!
With the Network version you can use the backup/restore feature. For the OSS version you can try to copy over the data files as long as the versions are identical. Make sure you do this with the system stopped. There is no document for this that I know of but I've seen posts of folks doing it before.
