SMTP Auth stopped working for a bit then started. It was really weird. My boss called me and said he couldn't connect to the server giving "An error occurred sending mail: Unable to authenticate to SMTP..."
We require a username and password to get SMTP, I was looking at the logs and the settings to make sure nothing was changed then it just started working again. Is there a certain process other than postfix that handles SMTP auth that might have been having problems and Zimbra restarted it? |
