Zimbra Server to receive email from POP ?

Hi, I am trying to rid myself of Exchange, but I need something like the POP connector functionality, where the Exchange SERVER goes out and polls any number of POP mail servers and pulls down all emails (every 15 minutes). I know ZD can do that, but want to use the web ajax client and need that function on the server. All i can find from reading the admin guide is that Zimbra is a pure bread SMPT receiver......Any thought's if this is possible ?
