Default Can users update their own contact info eg phone numbers etc?

Hi,
We need to migrate 1000+ users from non-zimbra mail server to zcs community edition 6.0.4 on Centos 5.4 server.
All we have is their mail address.
We can use zmprov scripts to create the accounts with zimbraPasswordMustChange option and user name as their first name.
I was hoping that once a user logs into the new zcs server, he will be able to correct his own first name, last name and phone number.
Is there any way to do this? Do we have to use something like phpldapadmin for this?
Please guide.
Thanks in advance.

There isn't a way for them to do it themselves. If you're decent at programming, or know someone who is, you could write some sort of quick web page they can log into and update their info, and talk to Zimbra via the SOAP API to update their information.
