Exclamation Most of mails showing SPAM & discarded

Dear All,

I am facing very big problem , mails from outside network using my mail server showing spam & discarded.
I am facing this problem after new year .This problem coming on when user sending mail thru outlook express or microsoft outlook. Mail sending thru zimbra interface coming in inbox & not showing spam.

My zimbra version is Release 5.0.7_GA_2444.RHEL5_20080626020941 RHEL5 FOSS edition

I have made the changes in as per article that are below

score FH_DATE_PAST_20XX 0.0 # n=0


vi 72_active.cf

header FH_DATE_PAST_20XX Date =~ /20[2-9][0-9]/ [if-unset: 2006]^M
describe FH_DATE_PAST_20XX The date is grossly in the future.^M
##} FH_DATE_PAST_20XX



After that i test the mail from laptop.. mails from using oultook express are getting discarded.


Logs of mail sent from Laptop using DATA Card

Mail using outlook express 6.0 got discarded.

Is it perhaps Bug 43766 &ndash; FH_DATE_PAST_20XX - Spamassassin incorrect tagging from today ?

Just to make sure, you did restart the spamservice/zimbra, right? You need to do that for changes to take effect.

i have restarted the zimbra service using zmcontrol stop/start.. apart from this if any thingselse

most of problem coming while users using outlook express.

Well that does not really tell us anything as we need to see the headers from one of the emails.

I am sending mail from my mail id to myself with normal subjet. I am sending the mail using TATA datacard & thru outlook express.

Are you on the same LAN as Zimbra or from a external IP using authentication ?
