Hello all,

I have zimbra 6.0 installed siince 15 days.

All the services appers to be up and running, but when I log into the adm console the zimbra logger shows the following error:

Quote:

I followed the Logger Troubleshouting in wiki and I grabbed the following information:
Quote:
[zimbra@zimbra libexec]$ zmloggerctl status; echo $?; ps ax | grep zmlogger
0
19885 pts/1 S+ 0:00 grep zmlogger

It would appear from that information that the logger service isn't running at all.

Please update your forum profile with the output of the following (do not post it in this thread):

Code:
zmcontrol -v
What does the output of the following show:

Code:
zmcontrol status
You should start by looking in the log files and see what errors you have there.

How about updating your forum profile with the information I asked for, it would help if we didn't ahve to keep asking what version of Zimbra you're running.

Could someone please show me where to update the forum profile. Obviously I did it once, but I have searched everything on the User CP and cannot find it...

After upgrading to 7.1.4p1, a few days later I now get this on the admin console when viewing server stats. (they did work right after the upgrade):

Message: system failure: Unable to read logger stats Error code: service.FAILURE Method: [unknown] Details:soap:Receiver.

So far, I have done this:

zimbra@mail:~$ zmcontrol -v
Release 7.1.4_GA_2555.UBUNTU8_64 UBUNTU8_64 NETWORK edition, Patch 7.1.4_P1.
zimbra@mail:~$ zmcontrol status
Host mail.shawnigan.ca
antispam Running
antivirus Running
convertd Running
ldap Running
logger Running
mailbox Running
mta Running
snmp Running
spell Running
stats Running
zmconfigd Running

What's next? Why does this and/or the Server Status page always break on every update?

Thanks

It's not on the user CP but there's a link in this thread. :-)

If you mean the link in post #2 by phoenix, I've tried that, after inserting my id into the URL. It still gives me no option to edit the profile.

I know this is a moderator issue, but I haven't found out where to address those...
