    Default Junk Box Deletion

I'm not sure when this initially started but the Junk Folder is not being deleted every couple of days like what i've indicated. In the admin settings the life is currently set to 15 days but i'm seeing stuff in there that are from February. Anybody happen to know the script name that i could run manually by hand that invokes the clear process???

people are reaching there 100 meg quotes with 16,000 email in the inbox. Most of them are using pop so never see there junk folder.

/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmpurgemessages should do the trick. Can you verify it's in the crontab and maybe try running it manually and looking for errors.

i manually ran that that script and it appears that is only deleting the trash. It is enabled in cron as well.

    We are still on 3.0

    [zimbra@white ~]$ /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmpurgemessages
-bash: /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmpurgemessages: No such file or directory
    [zimbra@white ~]$ cd /opt/zimbra/libexec/
    [zimbra@white libexec]$ ls
    addUser.sh util zmmtainit zmsetservername zmtomcatstart
    postinstall.pm zmldapinit zmmyinit zmsetup.pl zmupgrade.pm
    scripts zmloggerinit zmnotifyinstall zmsnmpinit
    [zimbra@white libexec]$ locate zmpurgemessages

    I do have this
    /opt/zimbra/bin/zmpurgemessages

    Same thing????

It would be a VERY good idea to upgrade.

Good idea to upgrade, but very risky. The system is very stable now really no interaction other than this little problem.

We would upgrade but the system has over 2000 + accounts. Its somewhat of risk/benefit thing here.

Yes, but the later versions are a lot more likely to work.

    If I had 2000 accounts, I'd upgrade.
