Default Text body and attachment strip

Hi,

I am facing this problem from a long time with different versions of Zimbra. I had this problem with 5 so I upgraded to 6.0.2 but still the problem remains.

I have read that amavisd causes few problems. So disabled it and I am using an other anti-spam he problem doesn't look to die.

I have researched all the logs but I could see nothing unusual in both /var/log/zimbra.log and /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log

I have also seen in few forums that this is a bug in postfix. What should I do to get this resolved.

Without some information on what, exactly, your problem is it's difficult to give an answer. You should know by now that the procedure for fixing problems in Zimbra is to file a report in bugzilla.

Please update your forum profile with your currently installed version of Zimbra:

Code:
zmcontrol -v

I asked you to update your forum profile, putting it here means we have to ask you every time what version you're running.

What about some information on your problem?

Default info

Hi,

I use multiple versions of Zimbra as I maintain 10-15 installations across India with flavours both on debian and Redhat/CentOS.

Stripping on messages or attachments occur in all the flavours but happens in one in thousands.

I am only putting my issue in the forum to see if it happens with any of our community members.

Well, you need to give some details of what type of attachments and which versions of Zimbra this happens on and whether this is in the Web UI or fat clients.

Hi,

It happens with office files in common. And also the mail body gets truncated in few cases. As I have mentioned previously it happens to only few mails. And if the mail is resent is comes in full.

It happens with 6.0.2 GA. As I have mentioned it is quite there from 5.0.13 to till date.
