upgrade 6.0.2 > 6.0.4 - 0 byte long attachments

Dear Admins!

I upgrade my 6.0.2@centos5.2@32bit system to 6.0.4.
After i upgrade the system some user can't open some email attachments from the old emails.
When i try download or open a attachment from a old email i get this error:

HTTP ERROR 500

Problem accessing /service/home/~/Elastic%2091%20Kft_200911.xls.zip. Reason:

/opt/zimbra/data/tmp/expand1153428507761851866.tnef (No such file or directory)

This attachments is displayed as 0 byte long items in the emails.

This problem is not at all user and not at all email.

I hope this not a datalossing situation.
I have LVM snapshot from the original system if need to restore.

Any idea?

So, i think the problem is the outlook's "winmail.dat" emails.
If a mail is come from outlook and contain a winmail.dat then zimbra is not open the attachments.

Any suggestion?

You haven't given much detail about whether this is an IMAP connection, ZCO connection or whether this also happens in the Web UI nor whether you're using NE or the OSS version.

Please update your forum profile with the output of the following command (do not post it in this thread):

zmcontrol -v

If you're also using the ZCO then give details of the full version number that you're using.

I'm using the zimbra open source and the problem is have when i using the Ajax or HTML version of web client.

I try the imap protocol with mozilla thunderbird, and i looking a winmail.dat as attachment. This good, because the thunderbird can't read the winmail.dats without additional extension.

I updated my account information.

It looks like you're hitting this bug: Bug 28675 – Empty text/rtf attachments displayed for winmail.dat files - it's scheduled for the next major release so I'd suggest you vote on it. Unfortunately at the moment there's no workaround for it.

Hmm, i'ts very interest, because this feature is working for me and Every email attachment displayed good before i upgraded to 6.0.4.
The affected emails older than i upgrade. Before my action we received daily similar emails and attachment without errors.

But i this bug report is very old.

How possible this?

I just try out a 6.0.3 system, with same result ...

I will install a 6.0.2 system to a virtual machine.

If this working, the system downgrade is possible in ZCO?

So, this not easy..

In 6.0.3 i can download the attachments !!!!
In this version the attachment displayed as 0 bytes long (similar to our 6.0.4 version) but the attachment downloadable without error.
I not need the real size of attachment, but the attachment is needed

I sent Mail in HTML format in from Outlook/IMAP account to self account .Checked the same received mail in Web Interface (Ajax) , Nothing seems to be wrong .Version is 6.0.3
