Default [SOLVED] Webmail Sending Email - IOException

Hi,

I've encountered this error after re-installing, it looks like some problems with writing to disk or something has anyone encountered this error and found a solution? Thanks!

Please check on the zimbra logs to gather some specific error messages. You can also run some disk test tools, but the logs would be the best guide.

If you can post some excerpts from them here, maybe the community can help you more.

Hi,

Thanks, I have solved the problem. Here's how I managed to overcome this problem.

1. log4j.properties - turn on debug logs
2. Try again and look at the logs
3. Logs complained about permissions or exception in saving to a file
4. change permissions of the files/folders.
5. The email was successfully sent and received
